Brandon King's Spectacular 101-Metre Six Demands New Ball In ENG Vs WI Clash
ENG vs WI: The umpires had to request a new ball during the third over of the Super 8 match between England and West Indies. This occurred after Brandon King hit a massive six outside the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia.
On the third ball of the third over, England's left-arm pacer Reece Topley delivered a full-length ball. Brandon King smashed it over mid-wicket, sending it onto the stadium roof before it bounced out of the facility. King had just changed his bat before hitting the 101-metre six.

The West Indies opener was in excellent form, scoring 23 runs off 13 balls. Unfortunately, he retired hurt in the fifth over after twisting his groin while facing a delivery from Sam Curran. West Indies physios rushed to assist him, but King decided not to continue.
King's brief but impactful innings included three fours and a six, helping West Indies reach 54 runs without any loss during the powerplay.
