Bangladesh's campaign began with a narrow two-wicket victory over Sri Lanka. However, they faced a setback in their second match, losing to South Africa by four runs. The team, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, bounced back by defeating the Netherlands by 21 runs and then securing another win against Nepal in Kingstown.
