Bangladesh Players Set For IPL 2025 Mega Auction: Shakib Al Hasan And Mustafizur Rahman Lead The List
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the final list of players for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. Among the 574 players, 12 are from Bangladesh. The auction is set to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Out of the total players, 366 are Indian, while 208 are international. From Bangladesh, seasoned all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman are notable names. Both have prior IPL experience and lead the group of Bangladeshi players.

Mustafizur Rahman, who played for Chennai Super Kings last season, has entered with a base price of Rs 2 Crore. Shakib Al Hasan, having played for various teams in past seasons, is listed at Rs 1 Crore.
Joining Shakib at the Rs 1 Crore base price are Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taskin Ahmed. Other Bangladeshi players have registered with lower base prices.
Litton Kumer Das, an experienced wicketkeeper-batter, enters with a base price of Rs 75 Lakh. Pacers like Shoriful Islam and Tanzim Hasan Sakib also share this price bracket.
Spinner Rishad Hossain and all-rounder Mahedi Hasan have also been listed at Rs 75 Lakh each. Batter Towhid Hridoy completes this group of players.
Notably absent from the auction list is Najmul Hossain Shanto, a key player from Bangladesh. Mushfiqur Rahman also does not feature as he did not register for the auction.
Initially, 13 Bangladeshi players had registered for the auction. However, only 12 made it to the final list released by BCCI.
