ICC T20I Rankings: Axar Patel Secures Top Three Spot Among Bowlers
ICC T20I Rankings: India left-arm spinner Axar Patel has advanced to the third spot in the latest T20I rankings for bowlers, released by the ICC on Wednesday, May 29.
Ravi Bishnoi, who has not been selected for India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad, also moved up to fifth place. Sri Lanka's Maheesh Theekshana is now ranked fourth among T20I bowlers.

England's Adil Rashid and Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga complete the top five list. Australia's Josh Hazlewood and England's Reece Topley are the only two pacers in the top ten.
India pacer Arshdeep Singh has climbed three places to 16th. The left-arm fast bowler is one of three specialist pacers chosen by India for the T20 World Cup 2024, which begins on June 2 in the USA and the West Indies. Kuldeep Yadav is ranked 24th, and Yuzvendra Chahal is 51st.
Suryakumar Yadav will enter the T20 World Cup 2024 as the number one ranked batter globally. He is followed by England's Phil Salt, with Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam occupying the third and fourth spots, respectively.
South Africa captain Aiden Markram is fifth, while young India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal holds the sixth position. England captain Jos Buttler has moved up a place to seventh, and West Indies star Brandon King has jumped five places to eighth after impressive performances against South Africa.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is not part of India's World Cup squad, is ranked 11th. Rinku Singh is the fourth-highest ranked Indian batter in the latest T20I rankings, having dropped a place to 32nd.
