APL 2024 Final: Uttarandhra Lions Or Vizag Warriors - Historic Title Clash Decided

The third season of the Andhra Premier League (APL) 2024 has reached its climax with Uttarandhra Lions set to face Vizag Warriors in the final. The match will take place at the Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, July 13.

Gulfaam Saleh's Uttarandhra Lions topped the points table and secured a direct entry into the final by defeating Rayalaseema Kings by six wickets in Qualifier 1. Meanwhile, KS Bharat's Vizag Warriors, who finished third, overcame Coastal Riders by eight wickets in Eliminator 1 and then beat Rayalaseema Kings by seven runs in Qualifier 2 to book their spot in the final.

Coastal Riders and Rayalaseema Kings have each won one title in the previous two editions of APL. Coastal Riders clinched the inaugural title in 2022, while Rayalaseema Kings emerged victorious last season. Coastal Riders are considered the most successful team, having reached the final twice in three seasons.
