Andhra Premier League 2024: Teams, Captains, And Players Unveiled

The third edition of the Andhra Premier League (APL) 2024 is set to commence on Sunday, June 30, at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

This year's tournament will maintain the same format as previous editions, featuring six teams competing in a total of 19 matches, including the playoffs. The season will conclude with the final match on July 13.

Several stars from the Indian Premier League (IPL) and local talents from Andhra and Visakhapatnam will participate in APL 2024. Six teams will vie for the championship title.

Nitish Kumar Reddy, who made a mark in IPL 2024 with Sunrisers Hyderabad, might miss part of the season due to injury. He was the most expensive player at the APL 2024 auction, with Godavari Titans purchasing him for Rs 15.6 Lakh.

In addition to Nitish, Indian wicketkeeper-batter KS Bharat and Ricky Bhui, who played for Delhi Capitals earlier this season, will also feature in APL. Both players will lead their respective teams in the league.
