Noor Ahmad Discusses Key Bowling Strategies For Success In Abu Dhabi T10 2024

Noor Ahmad, an Afghan spinner playing for Team Abu Dhabi in the Abu Dhabi T10 2024, shared insights on the challenges bowlers face in the T10 format. He emphasised that while it can be tough for bowlers, success is achievable by focusing on bowling in the right areas.

"It's the fastest format of the game and you have to bowl in right areas. Moreover, it's about focusing on your job and not worry about the outcome. I personally concentrate on my bowling and hitting the right lines and lengths," Noor was quoted as saying a release.

Having been with Team Abu Dhabi for three years, Noor feels a strong connection with the team. He has taken five wickets in as many matches this season, and he describes his experience with the team as feeling like home due to the supportive environment.

"The environment is very good. We have a good bunch of players around. It feels like a home team for me as I have been here for three years. This is my third year with Team Abu Dhabi consistently," he added.

Afghan cricketers are increasingly participating in T10 leagues, which Noor sees as beneficial. He believes these tournaments offer young players valuable learning experiences from seasoned professionals, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

"It's good to see Afghanistan players being a part of the T10 leagues. Adding to that, this is a good opportunity for the Afghan cricketers especially youngsters to learn from big players," he concluded.

Current Standings and Upcoming Matches

Team Abu Dhabi currently holds third place on the points table with three wins and six points. Their next challenge is against Northern Warriors in their final round-robin match scheduled for November 30, 2024.
