The Abu Dhabi T10 2024 is set to kick off on November 21, marking its eighth edition. This season promises thrilling cricket with the unveiling of captains and head coaches for the ten participating teams. The tournament will feature a mix of seasoned players and new entrants, adding excitement to the short-form cricket league.

Bangla Tigers have once again entrusted Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hassan with the captaincy. He previously led them two years ago. Younis Khan, former Pakistan captain, will continue as their head coach for a third consecutive year.

Nicholas Pooran remains at the helm of Deccan Gladiators for the third time. Under his leadership, they clinched their second title in 2022 and were finalists in 2023. Mushtaq Ahmed continues as their head coach, maintaining consistency in coaching.

Rovman Powell, West Indies T20I captain, takes charge of Delhi Bulls after leading Northern Warriors in 2022. Andy Flower returns as head coach, replacing Chris Silverwood after three years.

Tournament Format and Schedule

The tournament will follow a round-robin format with top four teams advancing to playoffs starting December 1. The playoffs include a qualifier and two eliminators on the same day.

The final showdown is scheduled for December 2 when one team will lift the Abu Dhabi T10 season 8 trophy after a 12-day competition among ten teams.

The opening match features Team Abu Dhabi against Ajman Bolts while defending champions New York Strikers face Morrisville Samp Army a day later.
