Zayed Higher Organisation Opens Food Packaging Centre To Empower People Of Determination

The Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination has launched a new centre at its Innovation Centre in Al Bahia. This facility focuses on assembling, packaging, storing, and distributing food products. The initiative, supported by Fresh on Table, aims to employ several People of Determination, reinforcing the organisation's commitment to their professional empowerment and job stability.

Products packaged at this centre include fruits, vegetables, fish, poultry, dairy, honey, and other animal products. Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of the Organisation, highlighted that this collaboration with Fresh on Table enhances the marketing of these food products efficiently. It also supports training and investing in the talents of People of Determination by providing permanent jobs at the packaging centre.

Al Humaidan emphasised that the organisation prioritises developing and empowering its members from various categories of People of Determination. The goal is to enable them to become productive individuals contributing significantly to societal development. The organisation seeks to expand partnerships with the private sector and encourages institutions across different sectors to actively contribute to their empowerment and training.

He praised Fresh on Table's role in promoting local farming and sustainability. This collaboration helps the UAE achieve food security by reducing carbon footprints through closer production and consumption links.
