Albawani Digital Transformation Accelerated By ZainTECH And Microsoft In Saudi Arabia

ZainTECH, the integrated digital solutions provider of Zain Group, has partnered with Microsoft to support AlBawani Holding Company in Saudi Arabia in its digital transformation journey, including Microsoft 365 migration, Internet of Things deployment, and cloud and AI initiatives that aim to deliver a smarter, more connected, and secure workplace.

AlBawani and its subsidiaries operate in the construction and infrastructure sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The collaboration with ZainTECH and Microsoft is designed to improve agility, productivity, and governance across the organisation, while aligning technology programmes with national digital objectives, including the Vision 2030 agenda for economic diversification and modern infrastructure.

Albawani Transformation Accelerated by ZainTECH

ZainTECH has migrated 3,500 AlBawani users to Microsoft 365 with minimal disruption, while ensuring full compliance with Saudi data residency and security regulations.

The company also developed an end-to-end roadmap covering advisory, implementation, and change management, designed to support adoption and to help AlBawani capture measurable value from its investment in Microsoft cloud services.

To increase user adoption, ZainTECH conducted hands-on training sessions for AlBawani employees, focusing on Microsoft 365 and AI tools for daily workflows. These sessions aim to help staff work more efficiently, enhance collaboration across teams and sites, and prepare the organisation for broader use of AI-driven capabilities in future operations.

Andrew Hanna, CEO of ZainTECH, said: “This partnership exemplifies how large enterprises in Saudi Arabia can achieve secure, compliant, and scalable transformation aligned with Vision 2030. By combining Microsoft’s technology with ZainTECH’s managed services expertise, we are helping AlBawani become more digital, intelligent, and resilient, while unlocking new levels of efficiency, collaboration, and innovation.”

Eng. Fakher AlShawaf, Chairman and Group CEO of AlBawani Holding, said: “At AlBawani, our digital transformation journey is central to how we evolve as an organization; empowering our people to work smarter, enhance collaboration, and deliver greater value to our clients. This collaboration with ZainTECH reinforces our commitment to operational excellence and advancing our digital maturity, as we continue building a more connected, data-driven, and AI-ready organization.”

Building on the Microsoft 365 migration, ZainTECH is collaborating with AlBawani on an advanced Ultra-Wideband tracking solution for its construction sites. The initiative uses proprietary IoT hardware to provide real-time visibility, improve on-site safety, and support operational efficiency, reflecting AlBawani’s focus on technology-driven performance in large-scale projects.

As an Azure Expert Managed Service Provider, ZainTECH combines regional presence with technical expertise to help enterprises establish scalable, secure, and compliant operations.

Through its Modern Work Adoption Services, the company seeks to align cloud, collaboration, and AI investments with day-to-day operational priorities and measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients.

By integrating innovation with secure and scalable solutions, the company aims to contribute to sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term resilience for organisations working within Vision 2030’s digital and economic objectives.
