Speaking at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, Findlay highlighted the transformation of Yas Island into one of the world's premier entertainment tourism destinations, thanks to the addition of world-class attractions such as Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, and Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi.
Findlay emphasized the unique appeal of Yas and Saadiyat Islands, noting their comprehensive entertainment offerings that are rare on a global scale. He pointed out Yas Island's strategic location between Abu Dhabi and Dubai as a key factor in its success, leveraging the prestigious reputation and high tourist influx of both cities. The support from major airlines like Etihad Airways and Emirates Airline also plays a crucial role in attracting visitors to the island.

The CEO remarked on the resilience shown during the COVID-19 pandemic, with efforts focused on preparing for a strong post-pandemic comeback through promotional and marketing campaigns. This strategy has paid off, with significant growth in tourist numbers from key markets such as India and GCC countries. Specifically, Findlay noted a 125 percent increase in visitors from the GCC in the last year compared to 2022, with Yas Island being a preferred summer vacation spot for tourists from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Discussing the contribution of Yas and Saadiyat Islands to Abu Dhabi's tourism sector, Findlay underscored Yas Island's integrated entertainment, tourism, and cultural experiences. Meanwhile, Saadiyat Island complements these offerings with its natural beauty, beaches, wildlife, and cultural attractions. Saadiyat Island has seen a 44 percent growth in visitor numbers over the past year and has been awarded over 38 accolades, including Best Beach in the Middle East by the World Travel Awards for twelve consecutive years.
Findlay's insights reveal a focused strategy on enhancing Abu Dhabi's appeal as a leading global destination through diverse entertainment and cultural experiences.
