Yango Ride B2B Taxis Reduce Transport Expenses by 30% in Abu Dhabi

Yango Ride, a segment of the global technology entity Yango Group, has expanded its services in Abu Dhabi by incorporating city taxis into its corporate client offerings.

This initiative allows businesses to easily coordinate and manage transportation needs for their employees through a centralized system.

This platform not only streamlines the process of booking and managing rides but also offers the potential to reduce corporate travel expenses by up to 30% in comparison to other available options.

In 2024, Yango Ride introduced its business-to-business (B2B) options within the UAE, initially making its services available in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

This launch provided companies with a cloud-based system for overseeing employee transportation, a move aimed at enhancing affordability and accessibility while maintaining high-quality corporate features.

By adding city taxis to their Abu Dhabi services, Yango Ride further broadens its reach, catering to the diverse needs of modern businesses.

The platform offered by Yango Ride for businesses simplifies the complexities associated with managing employee transportation. It eliminates the need for individual reimbursements and ride approvals by consolidating all transportation expenses into a single monthly invoice.

This approach provides businesses with detailed reports, itemized billing, and documentation that are tax-deductible.

Furthermore, companies gain the ability to monitor ride usage in real-time, enforce custom travel policies, and set restrictions based on various factors such as employee rank, department, and the time or location of travel.

Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head of Yango Middle East, highlighted Abu Dhabi's recent acclaim as the fourth-best city globally for public transport. He emphasized the significance of this achievement for bridging the gap between public mobility services and the private sector's needs.

"Taxis are often the most practical and affordable car option, yet companies still book them ad hoc, without visibility or control. By integrating taxis into the platform, we're turning a common workaround into a structured, cost-efficient solution that finally matches the scale and needs of modern companies," Abdul Karim explained.

Ivan Kaplunovich, Head of Yango Ride for business, noted Abu Dhabi's efforts to transform its transport ecosystem through initiatives like the Transportation Mobility Management Strategy.

These efforts aim to enhance public transport access, alleviate congestion, and promote sustainable travel methods.

"By integrating taxis into our B2B platform, we're enabling businesses to support this initiative and offer an efficient way to manage employee transport using modes that are already part of the city's mobility fabric," Kaplunovich stated.

Yango Ride's business service is compatible with internal HR and travel systems, allowing for seamless integration via APIs.

This feature facilitates automated onboarding, access management, and budget oversight for distributed teams. Clients benefit from a dedicated account manager and round-the-clock support, ensuring a responsive and hassle-free service experience.

Already utilized by over 15 industries, including consulting, logistics, finance, IT, and legal services, Yango Ride's offering in Abu Dhabi now spans the Comfort tariff and City Taxis, while in Dubai, Premier and Elite ride classes are available.

This expansion complements Yango Ride's collaborative efforts with the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) and "Abu Dhabi Mobility," further advancing the emirate's journey towards a smart, efficient transport infrastructure.
