World’s Coolest Winter Campaign Becomes Strategic Partner Of The 1 Billion Followers Summit's Third Edition
The 1 Billion Followers Summit, a major event for the content creator economy, has announced a new strategic partnership. The 5th World's Coolest Winter campaign, a collaboration between the Ministry of Economy and the National Agricultural Center, will join the summit's third edition. This event is organised by the UAE Government Media Office and will take place in Dubai from 11th to 13th January 2025.
The partnership aims to promote UAE's winter attractions through social media. By focusing on content creators, it highlights unique experiences available in these destinations. This approach seeks to broaden engagement on social platforms, reaching both local and global audiences. It also aims to attract influencers and content creators to enhance the campaign's impact.

The fifth season of the World's Coolest Winter campaign is themed 'Green Tourism'. It encourages sustainable agricultural practices and promotes visits to farms across the seven emirates. This initiative aligns with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's domestic tourism strategy, aiming for an integrated tourism ecosystem in the UAE.
Fatima Abdulrahman, Director of Government Communications at the Ministry of Economy, stated: "The World’s Coolest Winter campaign showcases the UAE's exceptional experiences, encompassing leisure, cultural, and sporting activities. Our partnership with the 1 Billion Followers Summit will amplify these offerings across social media, highlighting the country's remarkable tourism potential."
The fourth season of this campaign generated around AED 1 billion in revenue from January to February 2024. Its media materials reached about 600 million people globally through various platforms. The upcoming season will spotlight environmental landmarks and winter experiences in the country.
This collaboration also supports objectives like boosting domestic tourism and reinforcing UAE's status as a top tourist destination. It aligns with the National Tourism Strategy 2031 goals: increasing tourism's GDP contribution to AED 450 billion, attracting AED 100 billion in new investments, and welcoming 40 million hotel guests.
Summit Innovations
The third edition of the summit introduces new tracks and features such as the inaugural 1 Billion Award. This US$1 million prize recognises creators of meaningful content. Additionally, there is a new competition called 1 Billion Pitches for startups to present their ideas to investors for potential support.
The World's Coolest Winter campaign continues to highlight UAE’s diverse attractions while promoting sustainable practices. Through strategic partnerships like this one with the summit, it aims to enhance its reach and impact on both local and international levels.
