World Police Summit 2025: Global Leaders And Experts To Convene In Dubai For Future Of Policing

Dubai Police is all set for the World Police Summit 2025, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The summit will start next Tuesday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, lasting three days. It will gather police leaders, law enforcement agencies, global experts, and international organisations to discuss future policing and global security cooperation.

The event has grown significantly since its inception, with over 17,000 visitors attending past editions. This year expects record attendance due to increased international interest, showing a 25% growth in participation from global leaders, exhibitors, delegates, and visitors. Brigadier Dr. Saleh Rashed AlHamrani emphasised the summit's role as a leading platform for discussing policing's future.

Global Leaders Gather for World Police Summit 2025

Brigadier AlHamrani stated that this year's theme is "Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing." Over 300 speakers and experts will address emerging security challenges and explore innovative solutions. The summit aims to enhance community safety and develop policing capabilities in line with technological advancements while upholding justice and transparency principles.

The summit introduces three new zones: an Academic Zone featuring universities and police institutes, a Startup Zone highlighting innovation's role in community security, and a Demonstration Hub showcasing real-world policing scenarios. These additions aim to foster knowledge exchange on contemporary security issues and build strategic partnerships addressing global challenges like cybersecurity and organised crime.

This edition sees an expansion in conference tracks from seven to twelve by 2025. The World Police Summit Awards have also seen a 200% increase in nominations, highlighting the importance of recognising individuals and institutions that uphold safety and integrity. Lt. Col. Dr. Rashid Hamdan AlGhafri presented the agenda featuring panel discussions on advanced technologies, innovation in law enforcement, and modern police leadership.

Lt. Col. AlGhafri noted that key topics include artificial intelligence applications, information security, crisis management, and special sessions on smart city security. He said: "The summit serves as an exceptional platform to exchange knowledge and explore best practices in the policing sector." Prominent organisations like INTERPOL and Europol will participate.

Exhibition Highlights

The International Exhibition for Policing will feature over 170 exhibitors showcasing security solutions and modern policing technologies. Lt. Col. AlGhafri mentioned it as the largest exhibition of its kind in the region: "The exhibition offers an interactive platform to showcase innovations in data analysis, smart systems, drones, and rapid response technologies."

The summit continues to establish itself as a premier global platform for senior police leaders worldwide to discuss developments and strategies for advancing community safety. It promotes collaboration between public-private sectors while building law enforcement capacity to address evolving challenges.

The event underscores women's critical role in security by affirming gender diversity's importance in shaping future policing locally and globally. It aims to empower young police professionals through dynamic training programmes reflecting global partnership spirit.
