World Future Energy Summit 2025 Opens In Abu Dhabi To Foster Global Collaboration On Sustainability

The World Future Energy Summit 2025 commenced at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, hosted by Masdar, as part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW). This three-day event aims to foster global collaboration and innovation, featuring high-level ministerial and energy policymakers who will discuss strategies for energy transition and circular economies.

Over 30,000 participants, including government officials, industry leaders, and sustainability advocates from around the world, are expected to attend. The summit will highlight advancements in renewable energy, artificial intelligence (AI), climate technology, circular economy principles, green financing, and sustainable urban development.

World Future Energy Summit 2025 Launches in Abu Dhabi

The summit will explore how human ingenuity and advanced technologies like AI can create a resilient and inclusive future. It will feature 34 sessions with more than 70 speakers discussing sustainable development and impactful actions. The event aims to unlock a potential $10 trillion economic transformation opportunity through these discussions.

Interactive exhibits and networking opportunities will be abundant at the summit. More than 400 exhibitors will present innovative solutions in solar energy, eMobility, clean energy, water management, and waste management. These exhibits aim to showcase cutting-edge developments in these fields.

The conference will include seven vertical streams that delve into the entire energy ecosystem. These streams will provide attendees with insights into Solar & Clean Energy, Water, EcoWASTE, Sustainable Cities, Green Finance, eMobility, and Pathways to achieving a 1.5 °C target. This structure ensures comprehensive coverage of crucial sectors impacting sustainability.

As the main event of ADSW, the summit brings together 13 heads of state and over 140 ministers and government officials. Business and technology leaders are also present to drive socioeconomic progress through technological advancements.

This gathering is held in a region dedicated to energy transformation where alternatives like solar power are prioritised. The focus is on leveraging these alternatives for a sustainable future while promoting dialogue among global stakeholders.
