WETEX 2025 Expands Global Partnerships To Enhance Clean Renewable Energy Initiatives
Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai is set to host the 27th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). This event will occur from 30th September to 2nd October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Thousands of companies and experts will gather to display cutting-edge technologies that enhance clean and renewable energy efficiency.
The exhibition aims to foster global cooperation in sustainability, aligning with the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, emphasised its role in supporting these initiatives. "Clean energy will constitute 36 percent of the UAE's energy mix by 2030," he stated.

WETEX 2025 will feature key sponsors like Masdar, TAQA, ENOC, Siemens Energy, ACWA Power, and Hitachi Energy. The event will also include international pavilions from countries such as France, Belgium, Poland, Russia and Canada. These sponsors play a crucial role in promoting sustainable practices.
A significant highlight is the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. This flagship project by DEWA showcases clean energy advancements. Additionally, the Green Hydrogen project stands out as the first in the Middle East and North Africa to produce hydrogen using solar power.
International participants are set to present innovative solutions in various fields. These include renewable energy technologies, green hydrogen production, storage systems, water desalination methods and digital energy technologies. Sigma Energy will demonstrate wave energy devices as part of this showcase.
Companies like Ecolibri and Derun Energy will display wind and solar solutions alongside storage innovations. These presentations highlight the diverse approaches being taken towards sustainable energy development worldwide.
