WETEX 2024: A Global Platform For Sustainability In The Oil And Gas Sector

The 26th WETEX edition will gather global oil and gas companies, experts, and decision-makers. They will discuss sustainable practices and technologies to enhance the sector's sustainability. Key topics include reducing flaring, carbon capture, efficiency improvements, and renewable energy integration. These efforts aim to cut emissions and support a green economy transition, aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals 2030 for environmental protection.

The Future Energy Landscape Forum at WETEX 2024 will span three days. Organised by Dragon Oil in partnership with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), it will focus on sustainability strategies in oil and gas. Discussions will cover decarbonisation, efficiency enhancement, renewable integration, and waste management innovations. The forum aims to promote sustainable practices globally within this sector.

Ali Rashid Al Jarwan, CEO of Dragon Oil, expressed enthusiasm about highlighting sustainability's significance in their industry.
