Azerbaijan's Vittorio Sets Sights On Middle East Expansion With New SAIF Zone Hub

Azerbaijan's Vittorio International Fragrance Company has unveiled plans to set up a new regional hub in the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), marking a significant step in its expansion across the Middle East. This move underscores Sharjah's emerging role as a key player in the global economy. The announcement came following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SAIF Zone and Vittorio, witnessed by Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF Zone, and Mr. Ayaz Ibrahimov, Director of Vittorio, alongside notable officials from both parties.

As per the MoU, Vittorio will occupy 215,000 square feet of land within SAIF Zone for the construction of a cutting-edge perfume and cosmetics factory under its brand. This investment, valued at approximately AED18.4 million, aims to produce 5–6 million bottles annually for export to markets in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the United States. Since its inception in 2014, Vittorio has established over 800 stores worldwide and operates factories in Central Asia, serving various countries.

Vittorio Expands to SAIF Zone

Saud Salim Al Mazrouei highlighted that this partnership with Vittorio demonstrates growing confidence in Sharjah's manufacturing ecosystem, which is integral to advancing the UAE's industrial sector. This aligns with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology Operation 300bn and the Make it in the Emirates initiative. The SAIF Zone's commitment to offering exceptional facilities and services aims to attract international companies with unique capabilities, supporting their economic goals and ensuring an environment conducive to business growth.

Emin Azizov, representing Vittorio, expressed that the choice of SAIF Zone for their regional headquarters was driven by several factors including its business-friendly environment, modern infrastructure, global reputation, and investor support services. These aspects are anticipated to enhance Vittorio's market competitiveness, financial performance, and access to target markets.

This strategic move by Vittorio International Fragrance Company not only signifies its ambition to widen its market reach but also highlights Sharjah's capacity to attract global businesses seeking to leverage its advanced manufacturing ecosystem and strategic location for regional expansion.
