University Of Sharjah Showcases Commitment At Arab Universities Conference In Kuwait
The University of Sharjah showcased its academic prowess at the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, held at the International University in Kuwait. This gathering brought together leaders and representatives from over 250 Arab universities, alongside notable academics, to discuss "Arab Higher Education in the Era of Digital Transformation and Regional Integration."
Professor Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, led his institution's delegation. His participation highlighted the university's dedication to academic leadership and regional cooperation. This vision is strongly backed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University.

The conference explored crucial topics such as improving education quality in Arab universities and expanding scientific research collaboration. Discussions also centred on promoting innovation and entrepreneurship while emphasising digital transformation's role in higher education. Participants considered strategies to enhance university rankings both regionally and globally.
Prof. Al Nuaimi praised the Association of Arab Universities for its significant contribution to fostering dialogue and integration among higher education institutions. He reiterated the University of Sharjah's commitment to supporting the Association’s initiatives and participating in future projects aimed at advancing university education and sustainable development across the Arab world.
During the conference, Prof. Al Nuaimi participated in the 56th session of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities. Here, he joined other university leaders in discussions that are expected to shape higher education's future in the region. These deliberations are crucial for setting strategic directions for educational advancement.
