UAE And Saudi Arabia Enhance Strategic Partnership On Governance And Anti-Corruption Initiatives

The UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) and Saudi Arabia's Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) have formalised a memorandum of understanding. This agreement aims to bolster their strategic partnership in anti-corruption, governance, and oversight system development. The collaboration highlights the robust ties between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, aligning with both countries' visions to enhance cooperation among Gulf integrity bodies.

In attendance at the signing were Humaid Obaid Khalifa Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAEAA, and Mazin Al-Kahmous, President of Nazaha. Both leaders stressed the importance of sharing expertise and building institutional capacity. They aim to establish ongoing channels for technical cooperation and exchange data and modern oversight practices.

The partnership is set to improve administrative investigation capabilities through data-driven analysis and digital technologies like artificial intelligence. Joint training programmes will be developed to enhance national competencies.
