UAE Reading Month 2025: Ministry Of Culture Unveils Cultural And Knowledge Programmes

The Ministry of Culture has announced a series of cultural and knowledge programmes for UAE Reading Month in March 2025. This initiative aims to promote reading habits and enhance skills, aligning with the UAE's vision for a knowledge-based society. The announcement was made at Al Safa Art and Design Library in Dubai, attended by key figures including Mubarak Al Nakhi and Shatha Al Mulla.

Various ministries, local entities, and public interest associations will organise a wide range of activities during this month. These activities aim to foster reading habits by highlighting its importance in sustainable development and cultural awareness. The initiative is part of the UAE's long-term commitment to building a society rooted in science and knowledge.

Cultural Initiatives for UAE Reading Month 2025

Mubarak Al Nakhi stated that the UAE Reading Month reflects the nation's vision to create an educated society and drive sustainable development. Al Nakhi further explained that Reading Month is an intellectual milestone aimed at raising awareness about reading's role in personal growth and community development. The Ministry’s Cultural and Creative Centres will host various events throughout Reading Month 2025. Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, Dr. Amal Al Qahtani, Khoula Al Mujaini, Asmaa Al Mutawat, and Shaikha Al-Mutairi were also present at the announcement. Their participation highlights the collaborative effort across different sectors to promote reading as part of national development goals.
