UAE Pro League And Mubadala Investment Forge Social Partnership For Community Engagement In Sports

The UAE Pro League, Mubadala Investment Company, and the Authority of Social Contribution - Ma'an have formed a social partnership. This agreement makes Mubadala an official partner for the UAE Pro League competitions in the 2024/2025 sports season. The signing took place on 7th October at Zayed Sports City, attended by key figures from each organisation.

The partnership aims to enhance community engagement through various football activities. These include initiatives for the elderly and people of determination, empowering players in management and technical analysis, and organising health festivals for children. These efforts align with Ma’an’s mission to boost community contributions towards impactful initiatives in Abu Dhabi.

Abdulla Al Jneibi expressed gratitude to the nation's leadership for supporting athletes, helping elevate UAE football. He highlighted pride in this partnership, which aligns with the UAE Pro League's strategic plan for 2020-2030. This plan focuses on promoting sports culture across society and fulfilling social responsibilities.

Mubadala's AED 5.3 million CSR contribution underscores their commitment to these goals. The collaboration aims to spread football culture while supporting the community through various initiatives. Al Jneibi thanked both Mubadala and Ma’an for their support in these efforts.

Homaid Al Shimmari stated: "We are pleased to enter this social partnership with the UAE Pro League. It demonstrates our commitment to supporting the local sports community and all initiatives geared towards promoting the health standards of our community." His words reflect Mubadala's dedication to enhancing health standards through sports partnerships.

Abdullah Al Ameri remarked: "Sports have an incredible ability to connect the entire community and fosters essential skills including teamwork and communication while improving our health." He emphasised how channeling CSR contributions supports reintegrating senior citizens and people of determination into society.
