UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Hosts US President Trump In Official Ceremony At Qasr Al Watan
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed US President Donald Trump during his state visit to the UAE. The official reception took place at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. As the motorcade arrived, a ceremonial honour guard on horseback, camel riders, and Emirati folk performers celebrated the occasion.
Among those present were His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. Other notable figures included H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan and several ministers and senior officials.
The ceremony featured a community group with outstanding students from space camps, astronauts, and space mission engineers. Their participation highlighted the UAE's dedication to involving diverse groups in its national development initiatives. This engagement underscores the nation's commitment to progress in various fields.
President Trump also explored the "Guided by the stars" exhibition, which details the UAE's journey in space exploration. The exhibit emphasises the early vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was instrumental in fostering interest in this field.
In honour of President Trump's visit, US flags and welcome banners adorned major roads and landmarks throughout Abu Dhabi. These decorations were especially prominent along the route from the Presidential Airport to Qasr Al Watan, symbolising the significance of this diplomatic event.
The US delegation accompanying President Trump included several ministers and senior officials. Their presence underscored the importance of this state visit for both nations' diplomatic relations.
