UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Welcomes Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently welcomed President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia, who is visiting the UAE. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi and was attended by several high-ranking officials, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The leaders exchanged greetings and well-wishes for Ramadan, expressing hopes for continued prosperity for their nations. Discussions focused on strengthening the relationship between the UAE and Somalia, with an emphasis on enhancing cooperation in development and stability efforts in Somalia.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud praised the UAE's ongoing support for Somalia's development. He highlighted how this assistance helps Somali citizens achieve growth, stability, and prosperity. The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration in various fields to advance mutual interests.
Several prominent figures were present during the discussions at Qasr Al Bateen Majlis. These included H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, among others.
The gathering also saw the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Other attendees included Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, reflecting the significance of the meeting.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan was also present as an advisor to the UAE President. The event was attended by several sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, and UAE citizens, highlighting the importance of fostering strong bilateral relations.
The meeting between President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud emphasised mutual respect and shared goals between their countries. It reinforced their commitment to working together for a brighter future for both nations.
