UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Supports Lebanon’s Stability And Development During Meeting With President Joseph Aoun
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, engaged in discussions with His Excellency Joseph Aoun, President of Lebanon. The talks focused on strengthening the relationship between the two nations and exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation. This meeting occurred at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi during President Aoun's official visit to the UAE.
The UAE's commitment to Lebanon was highlighted by Sheikh Mohamed, who emphasised the reopening of the UAE Embassy in Beirut as a sign of support for Lebanon's stability and development. He expressed hope for a new era of collaboration between the countries. The leaders also discussed regional and international issues, stressing the need for joint efforts to promote peace and stability.
Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the enduring friendship and mutual respect between the UAE and Lebanon. He noted that these ties are based on deep-rooted bonds between their peoples. The UAE remains committed to supporting Lebanon's state institutions, sovereignty, security, and unity. This support is crucial for maintaining Lebanon’s territorial integrity.
