UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Praises Pilgrims’ Affairs Office For Hajj Support

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, recently met with representatives from the UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office and related committees. This meeting was held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. His Highness commended the Office for its comprehensive support to Emirati pilgrims during this year's Hajj, ensuring their wellbeing from arrival at the holy sites to their safe return home.

During the meeting, His Highness received updates on various initiatives and programmes implemented by the Office. These efforts aim to serve pilgrims effectively while they are in Saudi Arabia. Plans to enhance services and develop new initiatives for better organisation and management of UAE pilgrims' affairs in future years were also discussed.

Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and Head of the UAE Pilgrims' Affairs Office, expressed gratitude to His Highness for his unwavering support throughout the Hajj season. Dr. Al Darei praised His Highness’ directives that facilitated the Office’s operations, enhancing its ability to serve pilgrims efficiently.

The strong collaboration among national institutions was highlighted as a key factor in improving services provided to UAE pilgrims. This coordination played a significant role in enriching the overall experience for those undertaking the pilgrimage.

The meeting was attended by several prominent figures including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region.

Other attendees included H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan among others.

The gathering also saw participation from H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan along with other sheikhs, officials, guests, and citizens.

This meeting underscored the commitment of UAE leadership towards ensuring a seamless pilgrimage experience for Emirati pilgrims through strategic planning and effective collaboration among various entities involved.
