UAE President Discusses Sustainable Development With African Development Bank Leader
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently welcomed Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank Group, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. They discussed enhancing cooperation between the UAE and the African Development Bank Group to support sustainable development across Africa.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed emphasised the UAE's dedication to deepening economic and investment relations in Africa. He highlighted the crucial role financial institutions play in fostering mutual growth and prosperity. Dr. Adesina expressed gratitude for the UAE's ongoing support in advancing development initiatives across Africa.

During their conversation, both leaders explored ways to enhance coordination to achieve shared goals and support sustainable development throughout Africa for its people's benefit and prosperity. His Highness underscored that financial institutions are pivotal in this endeavour.
Dr. Adesina praised the collaboration between UAE institutions and the African Development Bank Group. He acknowledged His Highness's continuous support in promoting development across Africa.
