UAE Pavilion At Expo 2025 Osaka Hosts Secretary-General Al Falasi To Discuss Childhood Empowerment

Al Reem Abdullah Al Falasi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, recently visited the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. This visit was part of the council's official delegation to Japan, following directives from H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. Sheikha Fatima is the Chairwoman of the General Women's Union and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.

During her visit, Al Falasi was greeted by Shihab Ahmed Al Faheem, UAE Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner-General of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. Mariam Al Memari, Head of the UAE Expo Office, along with other officials, also welcomed her. The pavilion showcases the UAE's rich heritage and achievements over five decades.

Al Falasi Visits UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025

Al Falasi met young Emiratis serving as youth ambassadors at the Pavilion. These ambassadors guide visitors through exhibits that highlight the UAE's traditions and accomplishments. Following this tour, she held discussions with Ambassador Al Faheem, Al Memari, and other officials about the significance of UAE's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations with Japan and highlighted the Pavilion’s diverse programme and strong visitor engagement. Al Falasi emphasised that this visit reflects Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak's dedication to empowering children and youth through strategic initiatives.

Al Falasi noted that the UAE Pavilion provides an inspiring experience addressing key issues such as motherhood and childhood. It underscores national efforts to support mothers and children while promoting investment in future generations as a cornerstone of sustainable development.
