UAE Successfully Concludes Participation In Beijing International Book Fair, Showcasing Cultural Heritage

The UAE recently wrapped up its significant involvement in the Beijing International Book Fair, marking a notable cultural achievement. The UAE House pavilion, organised by the UAE Embassy in Beijing alongside the Ministry of Culture, provided an engaging glimpse into the nation's vibrant cultural and creative scene. This attracted thousands of visitors interested in Emirati culture.

Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, the UAE Ambassador to China, highlighted that the pavilion offered a comprehensive view of the UAE as a leader in cultural and knowledge sectors. He emphasised that this participation also helped strengthen ties with China. Al Hammadi appreciated how the pavilion showcased the UAE’s cultural diversity and intellectual growth while highlighting strong Emirati-Chinese relations.

UAE Concludes Successful Participation in Book Fair

Li Shulei, a member of China's Communist Party's Central Committee Political Bureau and head of its Publicity Department, visited the UAE House pavilion. His visit highlighted the deep-rooted cultural connections between China and the UAE. Li explored various sections of the pavilion, gaining insights into key Emirati publications and joint cultural initiatives between both nations.

During his visit, Li praised the organisation and innovative presentation of the pavilion. This participation aligns with the UAE's broader strategy to enhance its global cultural presence and deepen cooperation with international partners, especially in knowledge and creative sectors.

The Beijing International Book Fair featured over 1,700 exhibitors from 80 countries and regions. It showcased 220,000 books from China and around the world while hosting more than 1,000 cultural events. The fair drew over 300,000 visitors from 110 countries and regions.

The event served as a platform for showcasing diverse cultures and fostering international collaborations. The UAE's involvement underscored its commitment to promoting its rich heritage on a global stage while building stronger international relationships.

The successful participation at this fair reflects the UAE's dedication to enhancing its global cultural footprint. By engaging with international audiences, it aims to foster deeper understanding and collaboration across borders.
