UAE Delegation Led By Dr. Sultan Al Jaber Attends GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee Meetings In Kuwait

The UAE delegation, led by Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, participated in significant GCC meetings in Kuwait. These gatherings aimed to enhance economic integration and cooperation in industry and trade among GCC member states. Dr. Al Jaber conveyed the UAE leadership's greetings and emphasised the importance of strategic partnerships, particularly in investment and supply chain resilience.

During these meetings, Dr. Al Jaber expressed gratitude to Kuwait for hosting the events, which are crucial for regional collaboration. He stated: "In the UAE, and in line with the vision of our wise leadership, we continue to strengthen high-value partnerships and engage the private sector to enhance industrial competitiveness and sustainable economic growth for future generations."

UAE Participates in GCC Industrial Meetings

The UAE's commitment to fostering industrial growth was evident at the 4th GCC Entrepreneur Forum. The forum addressed challenges faced by small enterprises in the Gulf market and explored opportunities for business expansion through workshops on artificial intelligence and business growth strategies.

At the 3rd Gulf Industrial Exhibition, the UAE showcased five national industrial success stories. Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) demonstrated its use of innovative smelting technologies that cut emissions while reinforcing the UAE's status as a global industrial hub.

Nutridor Dairy Company highlighted its advanced production methods using automation and solar energy, reducing emissions by over 8,000 tonnes annually. Lootah Biofuel presented its pioneering work in converting used cooking oil into sustainable aviation fuel, supporting climate neutrality goals.

Future Pipe Industries showcased its expertise in producing corrosion-resistant pipes and providing clean energy solutions worldwide. Desert Board displayed its unique approach to transforming palm fronds into eco-friendly wooden boards, promoting sustainable building materials.

Acknowledging Excellence

The GCC Industrial Excellence Award was given to three UAE companies: Emirates Global Aluminium, Lootah Biofuel, and Desert Board. This recognition underscores their leadership in advancing Gulf industrial development and contributing to an integrated industrial ecosystem that supports sustainable economic growth.

The UAE delegation included Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, Osama Amir Fadhel, Assistant Undersecretary for the Industrial Accelerators Sector, along with senior ministry officials.

The launch of the Gulf Industrial Platform marked a significant step towards unifying digital resources for Gulf industrial projects. This platform aims to streamline processes and foster collaboration across various sectors within the region.
