UAE To Host Muay Thai Open Championship With Over 550 Participants

The UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation has announced the UAE Muay Thai Open Championship, scheduled from 9th to 11th August 2024. This event will take place at the modern Space 42 Arena in Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi. It will feature 551 fighters from 47 national clubs, highlighting a strong commitment to advancing Muay Thai and offering valuable opportunities for youth and juniors during the summer.

The championship will include male and female fighters aged 8 to 23, competing across 12 weight categories. The event begins with weigh-ins and medical checks on Thursday, 8th August. Preliminary rounds will start at 10 am on 9th August, with competitions continuing at the same time on 10th August. The finals are set to commence at noon on 11th August.
