Khalifa Rashid Al Hamli emphasised the significance of developing capable cadres for pioneering roles. He remarked: "The graduation of this cohort of national leaders represents a critical step in advancing the Ministry of Defence’s readiness to align with global transformations in management and leadership. By cultivating capable cadres to assume pioneering roles, we ensure the sustainability of government performance and bolster our institutions’ agility in addressing future challenges."

The programme equips participants with skills across eight core areas: global trends, national competitiveness, modern public administration, future foresight, change management, communication, institutional excellence, and effective leadership. These areas are crucial for addressing contemporary challenges like digital transformation and AI.

Dr Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri praised the graduates' achievements and stressed the UAE's commitment to investing in human capital. He noted that this approach has been central since Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's era. Al Marri stated that developing national leaders aligns with a strategic approach that anticipates future transformations.

The collaboration between the Ministry and MBRSG provided an advanced educational environment for participants. This partnership enabled them to acquire specialised knowledge in digital transformation and AI, enhancing their ability to navigate contemporary developments.

Innovative Projects Driving Change

Participants developed five innovative projects during the programme. These initiatives focused on real-world challenges such as improving workplace environments and deploying smart teams. They also aimed at enhancing planning tools and strengthening integration between key sectors like media, economy, and technology.

The development plans proposed during the programme support both the UAE’s 2031 strategy and 2071 Centennial Plan. These plans aim to cultivate leaders who can drive change using national capabilities for growth and transformation in upcoming stages.

The Future Leaders Programme is designed by MBRSG according to international standards. It aims to empower leaders to anticipate challenges while innovating solutions. This initiative aligns with UAE’s vision for sustainable leadership across all sectors.
