The alliance, based in the UAE, unites global leaders to foster a collaborative and future-ready content ecosystem.

These included 2,152 media licences, 235 digital media licences for social media, 103 filming permits, and 72 licences for newspapers and magazines. This reflects the rapid growth of the media business environment.

This year marked the introduction of the Advertiser Permit for individuals posting promotional content on social media. This initiative is part of a broader framework aimed at creating a flexible regulatory environment that aligns with the fast-paced evolution of the media industry. It seeks to improve content quality and attract investment and talent in content creation.
The permit also aims to protect both society and creators by establishing clear regulations for advertising activities. This reinforces transparency and professionalism while positioning the UAE as a leading hub for advertising content production. Additionally, a Cabinet resolution was issued regarding Administrative Violations and Penalties Regulation related to Media Regulation.
In publishing, over 514,000 book titles were managed by the Council, with 35,000 distribution permits issued locally. However, 32 titles were banned due to conflicts with national values or legislation. The cinema sector saw approval for 611 films in early 2025, generating over AED309 million from more than six million ticket sales.
