UAE Expands Local Terrorist List By Adding 19 Individuals And Entities Linked To Muslim Brotherhood

The UAE has expanded its Local Terrorist List by adding 19 individuals and entities linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. This action follows Resolution No. (1) of 2025, approved by the UAE Cabinet. The list now includes 11 individuals and 8 entities identified as supporting terrorism, aligning with UAE laws and regulations.

Financial institutions and regulatory bodies in the UAE are required to implement necessary measures in response to this resolution. These actions are part of the UAE's broader strategy to combat terrorism financing both domestically and internationally.

UAE Expands Local Terrorist List with New Additions

The updated list features several individuals with dual nationalities. Yousuf Hassan Ahmed Al Mulla, holding Swedish nationality and formerly Liberian, is among them. Saeed Khadim Ahmed bin Touq Al Marri is listed with Turkish and UAE nationalities.

Other individuals include Ibrahim Ahmed Ibrahim Ali Al Hammadi from Sweden/UAE, Ilham Abdullah Ahmed Al Hashimi from the UAE, and Jasem Rashid Khalfan Rashid Al Shamsi also from the UAE. Khaled Obaid Yousuf Buatabh Al Zaabi, Abdulrahman Hassan Munif Abdullah Hassan Al Jabri, Humaid Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Jarman Al Nuaimi, Ali Hassan Ali Hussein Al Hammadi, and Mohammed Ali Hassan Ali Al Hammadi are all UAE nationals.

The entities added to the list are primarily based in the United Kingdom. They include Cambridge Education and Training Center Ltd, IMA6INE Ltd, Wembley Tree Ltd, Waslaforall, Future Graduates Ltd, Yas for Investment and Real Estate, Holdco UK Properties Limited, and Nafel Capital.

This move underscores the UAE's commitment to dismantling networks that finance terrorism. By targeting these individuals and entities, the country aims to disrupt financial channels that support terrorist activities.

This decision reflects ongoing efforts by the UAE to address security concerns related to terrorism financing. The inclusion of these names on the Local Terrorist List is a step towards enhancing regional stability.
