The themes of green energy, digitalisation, and artificial intelligence are central to ADIPEC 2024. Ivanov expressed Russia's eagerness to contribute solutions in these areas. "Russia is committed to offering its expertise in green energy. We boast one of the world's greenest energy balances and are a recognised leader in nuclear energy," he explained.

Russia is making strides in renewable energy technologies like solar and wind power. Ivanov mentioned that Russia ranks among the top five globally for solar panel efficiency. These panels are exported to various regions worldwide. Wind power projects are also being developed with leading technological partners.

Energy storage solutions were another focus at ADIPEC, discussed during a panel session. Ivanov highlighted Russia's investments in constructing facilities for these systems. Traditional energy sectors like hydrocarbon extraction and processing remain crucial for Russia.

Expanding Cooperation with UAE

Hydrogen energy is increasingly becoming an area of interest for Russia. Ivanov noted that Russian producers have developed strong competencies here. They aim to expand cooperation with UAE companies and other partners across the Middle East.

With its extensive participation and innovative solutions, ADIPEC 2024 offers a platform to enhance UAE-Russia ties in global energy. This collaboration underscores both countries' commitment to advancing their partnership within the industry.
