UAE President Meets Kuwaiti Counterpart To Boost Bilateral Ties

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently welcomed Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Interior. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Fahad conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait. He expressed his hopes for the UAE's continued progress and prosperity. In response, Sheikh Mohamed extended his greetings to the Amir of Kuwait, wishing further growth and prosperity for the Kuwaiti people under his leadership.

The discussions focused on the enduring fraternal ties between the UAE and Kuwait. Both sides explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields that serve their mutual interests and support their shared aspirations for development and prosperity.

The importance of supporting Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) efforts was also highlighted during the meeting. The leaders emphasized that such efforts are crucial for serving the common interests of GCC countries and their peoples, contributing to regional security, stability, and prosperity.

The meeting saw attendance from several high-ranking officials. Among them were H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Adviser to the UAE President; along with a number of officials and the delegation accompanying Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah.

Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties and working together towards a prosperous future. The meeting underscored their dedication to fostering regional cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations in various sectors.
