UAE And Kazakhstan To Strengthen Trade Ties With Business Council Meeting In Dubai
The inaugural meeting of the UAE-Kazakhstan Business Council is set to take place on 28th February 2024, marking a significant step in fostering trade and investment ties between the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan. This landmark event will be hosted at the Kazakhstan Pavilion in Expo City Dubai, drawing the participation of the Kazakh Minister of Trade and representatives from over 200 private companies and institutions across various sectors from both nations.
In preparation for this pivotal meeting, discussions were held between Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), and Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE. The agenda for the upcoming council meeting was a key focus, alongside talks on renewing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of the UAE-Kazakhstan Business Council, initially forged between the FCCI and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan.

Ben Salem underscored the FCCI's dedication to enhancing trade and investment within the UAE and spotlighting lucrative investment avenues in Kazakhstan. He highlighted the importance of regular interactions between business leaders from both countries as a means to forge new partnerships that benefit both parties.
