UAE's Strategic Investment In Women Empowerment Yields Global Success

Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office (NMO), emphasised the crucial role Emirati women play in the UAE's societal development. He noted their remarkable success across various fields and their ability to anticipate and shape the future. On Emirati Women's Day, he praised their significant support to the nation, highlighting their role as strategic partners in the country's progress.

Al Hamed attributed these achievements to the support of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The President's commitment to advancing Emirati women through education has led to significant successes that bring pride to the UAE. "They have become a key pillar in building society, a symbol of creativity, and an inspiring model regionally and globally," he added.

The NMO Chairman also acknowledged H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak's major role in empowering Emirati women. As Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (SCMC), and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), her belief in women's contributions has driven their empowerment across all sectors.

Al Hamed highlighted that since its founding, the UAE has benefited from investing in its women. This vision was part of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s belief in women's potential to contribute to national development. Today, Emirati women are symbols of positive participation, shaping the country's future through their dedication and leadership.

He further noted that Emirati women have significantly contributed to shaping local media's future. Their efforts have developed the UAE's media sector and nurtured educated generations capable of building the country’s future.
