UAE And Indonesia Presidents Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Ties In Key Areas
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, recently met with His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, in Abu Dhabi. Their discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas such as the economy, investment, and renewable energy. This meeting was part of their strategic relationship aimed at supporting shared development goals.
The leaders also reviewed regional and international issues of mutual interest. They emphasized their commitment to peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy. This approach aims to foster global development and prosperity. Both nations are committed to strengthening their relations for the benefit of their peoples.
During President Subianto's visit, several agreements and memoranda of understanding were announced between the UAE and Indonesia. These covered sectors like the economy, investment, environment, food security, renewable energy, and sustainability. Agreements also included cooperation in security and Islamic affairs.
The meeting was attended by key UAE figures including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister. Other attendees included H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.
Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak; Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri; Mohamed Alabbar; and the Indonesian delegation were also present during these discussions.
The leaders reaffirmed their dedication to advancing UAE–Indonesia relations which have seen significant progress. Their collaboration aims to enhance economic growth and sustainability efforts for both countries.
This meeting underscores the importance both nations place on strategic partnerships that support mutual development ambitions. By focusing on key areas like infrastructure and sustainability, they aim to create lasting benefits for their citizens.
