UAE To Host The Ninth Edition Of FIFA Football Law Annual Review In Early 2027

The UAE is set to host the ninth FIFA Football Law Annual Review in early 2027. This event, organised by FIFA and the UAE Football Association, highlights the UAE's significant role in global sports. Over two days, more than 400 legal experts and football specialists from around the world will gather to discuss and enhance football laws.

Mohammed Abdullah Hazzam Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the UAE Football Association, emphasised the importance of hosting such events. He noted that under Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan's leadership, these gatherings are crucial for fostering communication and exchanging expertise to advance football.

The FIFA Football Law Annual Review supports Goal 1 of FIFA’s Strategic Objectives for 2023-2027. This goal focuses on revising FIFA Statutes and improving regulations. The event ensures stakeholders have direct access to information on legal decision-making processes and outcomes.

Since its inception in 2019, this annual review has been a platform for top football law experts and stakeholders. It facilitates discussions on pressing issues in football, allowing FIFA to share regulatory work, case law, and decisions from its judicial bodies.
