The UAE Government Media Office, with Saeed Al Eter present, has introduced a new edition of the "Specialised Content Creator" Programme. This initiative, in partnership with the New Media Academy, is designed to train national talent in digital content creation across key sectors like economy, law, medicine, and agriculture. The programme aims to develop skilled content creators who can transform specialised knowledge into clear and reliable digital content for the public.
Running from 13th to 30th October, the programme involves 50 participants from both government and private sectors. It focuses on enhancing the skills of specialists to produce sector-specific content that meets international standards. The training includes sessions at Emirates Towers in Dubai, featuring lectures and workshops by local and international experts in digital media.

Khadija Hussain, Executive Director of Government Communication at the UAE Government Media Office, emphasised that this programme aims to strengthen professionals' capabilities in using digital opportunities while addressing its challenges. She highlighted the commitment to enriching communication employees' knowledge and developing their competencies through integrated training aligned with global best practices.
The programme's training pillars cover creative storytelling, writing sector-specific scripts, simplifying complex concepts, and skills in digital filming and editing. Participants learn to produce professional visual content for various platforms and use creative artificial intelligence tools in digital content production. These skills help transform academic knowledge into simplified and reliable digital content.
Hussein Al Atoli, Director of the New Media Academy, noted that this edition builds on past successes by graduating a cohort capable of crafting professional media messages. He stated that the academy is committed to nurturing a new generation of creators who can produce impactful media messages with added value through integrated educational programmes combining practical and theoretical training.
The programme also addresses developing strategies for digital campaigns and managing audience engagement on social media platforms. This comprehensive approach ensures participants are equipped with practical tools to enhance public awareness and serve communities effectively.
Promoting Reliable Information
A key focus is on delivering reliable information to counter misinformation across platforms. The programme promotes content based on accuracy, credibility, transparency, and professional integrity. By doing so, it positions every content creator as a partner in strengthening public trust in national institutions while conveying messages innovatively amid technological changes.
The initiative underscores the importance of specialised digital content that enhances public awareness by providing accurate information. It aims to make each participant a valuable contributor in building trust within communities by effectively communicating institutional messages both locally and globally.
