H.H. Sheikh Saif highlighted the UAE’s swift humanitarian response to crises under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives. The UAE was among the first to aid Gaza through ‘Operation Gallant Knight 3,’ contributing over AED800 million, which is 42% of total international aid for Gaza. This underscores the UAE's longstanding commitment to humanitarian initiatives.

Reflecting on historical events, H.H. Sheikh Saif noted: "The Umayyad and Abbasid eras did not seek to eliminate previous civilisations but instead leveraged their knowledge and attracted talented minds." He also mentioned how internal divisions led to the fall of Al Andalus, emphasising that unity is crucial for sustaining power.

Sheikh Saif discussed economic shifts, noting how technology now influences global power dynamics like nuclear weapons once did. He remarked: "History shows how the Industrial Revolution dominated the global economy." Today’s market fluctuations can see companies lose $500 billion in a day, highlighting rapid changes in financial markets.

The UAE has become a hub for artificial intelligence companies due to its investment in human capital. Over seven years, it attracted more than $135 billion in foreign investment and ranks fifth globally in AI Index. This progress reflects visionary leadership that prepares the nation for future challenges.

Commitment to Future Generations

H.H. Sheikh Saif stressed the importance of preserving the legacy of founding fathers by focusing on sustainability for future generations. He urged Emirati youth to strive for greater achievements as their determination is key to national prosperity. "The sacrifices and efforts... represent a responsibility entrusted to future generations," he stated.

He also emphasised that credibility is built when promises are consistently fulfilled, citing President His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s reputation for honouring commitments. The UAE remains one of the safest countries globally while leading indicators in entrepreneurship and economic stability.

At WGS 2025’s conclusion, attendees received copies of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s book ‘Reflections on Happiness and Positivity.’ This gesture symbolises a commitment to fostering positive outlooks amid ongoing global challenges.
