The dialogue, conducted via a phone call today, centered on reinforcing the strategic partnership and bilateral relations between the UAE and France. This interaction underscores the mutual commitment to fostering stronger ties and exploring new avenues for cooperation.
The conversation also delved into the outcomes of the recently concluded International Humanitarian Conference for Sudan, held in Paris. This pivotal conference aimed at rallying international and regional support to find a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict in Sudan. Both leaders emphasized the critical need for a diplomatic approach to secure an immediate and lasting ceasefire, ensuring the safety and prosperity of the Sudanese populace.

Amidst discussions on global and regional issues, with a particular focus on the Middle East, both leaders agreed on the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing crises that jeopardize international peace and stability. Further solidifying its support for Sudanese refugees, the UAE has inaugurated a comprehensive field hospital in Abéché, Republic of Chad, with an investment of USD 20 million. This facility marks the second such initiative by the UAE to extend critical healthcare services to those displaced by conflict. The establishment of this hospital is a testament to the UAE's ongoing commitment to humanitarian assistance and its role as a key player in regional stability and support.
