UAE Showcases Aviation And Aerospace Innovations At Airshow China 2024

The United Arab Emirates is poised to make a notable impression at the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition 2024. This prominent event, taking place from November 12-17 in Zhuhai, China, will allow the UAE to display its aviation and aerospace sectors. The exhibition will highlight the nation's technological capabilities and strategic alliances.

Organised by the Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC) with backing from the Ministry of Defense and Tawazun Council, the UAE National Pavilion will showcase a variety of advanced products and solutions from leading national companies. This participation reflects the UAE's dedication to innovation and its ability to deliver advanced defense technologies globally.

UAE's Aviation Innovations at Airshow China

The UAE aims to broaden its global presence in defense, aviation, and aerospace industries through this event. It seeks to unlock new opportunities for strategic partnerships while showcasing national companies' competitive capabilities. These companies develop innovative solutions tailored to meet global market demands.

Throughout the exhibition, EDGE Group and Calidus Aerospace LLC will present advanced products and solutions. Their displays will highlight technical expertise and progress in delivering state-of-the-art defense technologies worldwide.

Muammar Abdulla Abushahab, CEO of Tawazun Council, emphasised the significance of the UAE’s participation: "Our involvement aligns with our commitment to strengthening the UAE's position in the defense and security sectors. In collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, Tawazun Council supports national companies in showcasing their advanced capabilities and innovative products, in line with the vision of our wise leadership to enable the UAE’s defense and security industries."

Abushahab also highlighted strong UAE-China relations rooted in a history of partnerships. Both nations' leaders are keen on fostering joint efforts across various sectors. He noted significant progress in economic and industrial relations between both countries recently.

Expanding Global Presence

Anas Nasser Al Otaiba, General Manager of EDCC, stressed how this event enhances the UAE defense sector's global standing: "Our participation at Airshow China highlights the strength of Emirati innovation and the ability of national companies to compete in international markets. We aim to present locally developed products and solutions, showcasing creativity driven by our people."

Al Otaiba further stated their goal is to expand partnerships, enhance engagement with international partners, and demonstrate global competitiveness in manufacturing. He underlined EDCC’s mission of establishing UAE’s presence at major global events as crucial for supporting growth.
