UAE President And Egypt’s Foreign Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently met with His Excellency Dr Badr Abdel Ati, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. The meeting underscored the strong ties between the UAE and Egypt, focusing on mutual interests and cooperation.

During their discussion, Dr Badr Abdel Ati conveyed greetings from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, along with his wishes for the UAE's continued progress. In response, Sheikh Mohamed sent his regards to President El-Sisi, expressing hopes for Egypt's further growth. Both leaders emphasised their shared aspirations for development within the framework of their strategic relationship.

Both sides called for concerted international efforts to prevent further escalation and avoid additional crises that could threaten regional stability. They reiterated the necessity of a comprehensive peace based on a two-state solution as crucial for enhancing security in the region.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; and Dr Ahmed Mubarak Ali Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs at the Presidential Court.

The discussions highlighted a shared vision for a stable and prosperous region through enhanced bilateral relations and strategic cooperation.
