UAE And Egypt's 'Birds Of Goodness' Delivers Aid To Gaza

The Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence has initiated a significant humanitarian effort, dubbed "Birds of Goodness," to deliver aid to the northern Gaza Strip. This operation, conducted by the UAE Air Force alongside the Egyptian Air Force, is designed to distribute essential humanitarian and relief aid to the Palestinian people, who are currently enduring hardships due to ongoing conflict.

Launched on 5th November 2023, under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, "Birds of Goodness" forms a crucial part of the broader "Gallant Knight 3" humanitarian operation. This initiative underscores the profound level of coordination between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt in their efforts to support the beleaguered residents of Gaza. In a recent operation conducted last night, joint teams from both nations utilized three aircraft to transport approximately 36 tonnes of food and medical supplies. These essentials were delivered to Jabalia and Beit Lahia in specially designed boxes equipped with GPS technology. This advanced system ensures that the aid precisely reaches its intended destinations at the optimal times, showcasing the innovative approach taken in delivering assistance during emergencies.
