Executives from top AI firms have praised the UAE and Dubai for their leadership in attracting global innovators, startups, and capital. They also highlighted the region's ability to draw leaders from various digital economy sectors to the Middle East.
During a panel at the Dubai International Financial Centre, in preparation for the first Dubai AI and Web3 Festival, representatives emphasised that the festival's launch in Dubai underscores the emirate's dedication to showcasing future technologies. This event aims to stimulate regional growth and open new markets for AI applications.

Heath Behncke, Managing Director of Holon, pointed out that Dubai is a global hub welcoming AI companies through initiatives designed to speed up AI adoption across vital sectors. He noted that these efforts provide an environment conducive to innovation and advancement in advanced applications.
Nader Al Bastaki, Managing Director of Dubai Future District Fund, stressed the need for raising awareness and building trust within the AI sector. He stated, "The Dubai AI and Web3 Festival is an ideal platform that brings together stakeholders from around the world to increase awareness and readiness among the public about developments in the sector, and forecast future trends."
Patrik Eriksson, Director of Data Technology and Delivery at ZainTECH, described the UAE as a global hub for innovation due to its role in uniting global AI companies. He highlighted how Dubai AI and Web3 Festival will attract experts worldwide to exchange knowledge and solutions while promoting AI literacy.
