UAE And Djibouti Commit To Enhanced Parliamentary Cooperation For Development
Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), met with Dileita Mohamed Dileita, Speaker of the National Assembly of Djibouti, to discuss enhancing parliamentary diplomacy. They explored ways to boost coordination and consultation on mutual interests through visits and joint actions.
During their meeting at the FNC headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Ghobash welcomed his Djiboutian counterpart and his delegation. He emphasised the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Djibouti, which are founded on mutual respect and cooperation on various issues.

Ghobash highlighted the UAE's commitment to building bridges of friendship globally. He noted that parliaments play a crucial role in representing their peoples and fostering international cooperation. The UAE aims to promote dialogue and understanding with countries worldwide.
The discussion underscored the importance of parliamentary collaboration between the FNC and Djibouti's National Assembly. Both sides aimed to unify their positions on shared issues in regional and international forums while exchanging parliamentary experiences.
