UAE Delegation Engages With Lloyd's Of London To Enhance Maritime Insurance Cooperation

A delegation from the UAE recently visited Lloyd's of London, a prominent insurance market serving businesses in over 200 countries. The visit aimed to boost the UAE's global standing in maritime transport and insurance by collaborating with one of the world's top insurance entities. This initiative seeks to share experiences and strengthen ties within the industry.

The delegation was led by Eng. Hessa Al Malek, Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure for Maritime Transport Affairs. It included key figures from port authorities in Fujairah, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah, as well as experts in maritime shipping and insurance. Their goal was to explore potential collaborations in maritime insurance and reinsurance.

During their visit, discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in maritime insurance and reinsurance.
