UAE Strengthens Global Energy Ties At World Energy Congress

A high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates made a significant appearance at the 26th edition of the World Energy Congress in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This prestigious event, a collaborative effort between the World Energy Council and the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, brought together over 7,000 international stakeholders from the energy sector. The congress featured more than 200 C-suite speakers and 70 ministers, facilitating critical government-to-government dialogue aimed at advancing the global energy transition agenda.

The UAE delegation was comprised of notable figures including Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. Also in attendance were representatives from the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, Etihad Water and Electricity, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and BEEAH Group. This gathering underscored the UAE's commitment to playing a pivotal role in the global energy landscape.

During the congress, the UAE National Committee for the World Energy Council was honored with the "Driving Impact and Amplification" recognition.
